florida car insurance quotesIn Manitoba, cover reaches all victims of motor vehicle accidents which occur in the province and :
(a)    to a person who is known as inside a valid and subsisting driver s certificate, and also to any occupant of the motor vehicle who is domiciled in Manitoba, as the person named in this driver’s certificate operates the motor vehicle, set up vehicle is designated in an owner’s certificate; and published here:
(b)    to a person who is an occupant of a motor vehicle while that vehicle, as being a vehicle that is designated in a valid and subsisting owner’s certificate, is operated by any individual who is qualified and authorized by law to function it, and does so operate with the consent of the person designated in that owner’s certificate;
past the boundaries of Manitoba, but within Canada or the United States of America.
Observe that any occupant of an insured vehicle is covered whenever it’s in an accident in Canada or the Usa. On the other hand, an individual injured while driving by having an insured driver, but not in the vehicle insured in Manitoba, must be “domiciled” within the province.
The Saskatchewan scheme provides cover all victims of accidents which happen inside the province.  However, for accidents taking place away from province (but within Canada or even the U.S.), cover is restricted in every case to persons “ordinarily resident in Saskatchewan” and also to vehicles insured underneath the scheme. The appropriate subsection provides:
(2) Subject to this Act, an owner s certificate shall further insure:
(a)    a person who is ordinarily resident in Saskatchewan and who’s named in the owner’s certificate only while he is traveling in or on the vehicle designated within the owner s certificate even though the automobile has been operated with a person qualified and authorized by law to drive an automobile;
(b)    any other person who’s ordinarily resident in Saskatchewan only as they is traveling in or around the vehicle designated within the owner’s certificate even though the automobile has been operated with a person qualified and authorized legally to drive a motor vehicle;
within the amounts hereinafter specified, against loss from bodily injuries sustained directly, and independently of all other causes, through accidental means, provided that the bodily injuries are suffered by the pack leader because of riding in or on the vehicle even though it is moving on a public highway past the boundaries of Saskatchewan but within Canada or the United States of America.
The Quebec scheme has much wider application. It covers all residents from the province for accidents occurring anywhere.  Non
